Roon Doesn't Connect to any device

Definitely should be only connected to the one just labeled Ethernet and not the svs Ethernet port.

Apart from that I’m out of ideas atm

Thanks so much for all your time and knowledge

What type of files are you trying to stream?.
Hires PCM?
Dsd?

And when you select the Bryston as the audio zone and hit play does it try to play or?

I was just using Tidal. It was playing on my laptop with the Roon download but couldn’t get it to play on the Bryston

The Bryston icon had a blue equalizer type graphic that was moving

So it thinks it is playing but no actual sounds.
Sounds like a setting somewhere but running out of ideas I’m afraid.

The 3.14’s “Ethernet” port should be the port connected to your router, but is there any other setting you need to set in the Bryston browser to enable Roon? I’m sorry but I don’t own one but looking in the manual it seems that there may be settings for streaming setup (which Roon is considered by Bryston apparently).

This from the manual…

Only one input can be active at
a time. Input 1 (Optical / Streaming) can be
toggled between the optical input on the rear
or the internal streamer. When lit yellow, the
streamer is selected
