Roon doesn't recognize M2Tech Hiface Kernel Streaming driver?

Dear Roon Support,
I’m currently using JRiver MediaCenter on my Windows 7 (32) based Musicserver. The USB signal goes out to an M2Tech Hiface Evo USB>S/PDIF converter and from there to an Aqua LaScala DAC. I run Roon in Server version as the MusicServer doesn’t provide sufficient graphics capabilities. This works fine from both Remote PC and iPAD endpoints.

With JRiver I use the M2Tech Hiface Kernel Streaming driver for Windows which works flawlessly. However Roon doesn’t recognize the driver at all. It only shows generic output, JRiver ASIO and another legacy ASIO driver. Those are also shown as options in JRiver, only the Hiface driver isn’t visible to Roon. I though that probably JRiver somehow “blocks” or “occupies” this driver so I changed all Jriver settings and rebooted but this doesn’t help either.

Are there any known issues with M2Tech/Manunta drivers and Roon ? Or are there any recommendations for workarounds ? I tried playing Roon through the shown “Jriver ASIO” driver but this doesn’t provide any output.

Any ideas ?

Thanks a lot and cheers
Christian
