Sometimes I turn off wifi on my iPhone for various reasons . . . return home . . . and when I go to play music, Roon behaves as if my Core is off-line, which I suppose it is, technically, as wifi is off 
Other apps seem to check for wifi and rather than just report a failure to find a network source, they report that wifi is off or have some other behavior that is indicative.
Might this be possible with iOS Roon apps?

At this time the Roon iOS app does not check for the current status of your WiFi setting. Since this is “working as designed” I would recommend also posting your suggestion in the 'feature request" section of the site.
Our product team and developers keep a close eye on that category, so that’s definitely the best place to propose a change like this and get feedback from the Community.
