Roon keeps dropping the connection to my streamer (Cambridge Audio), freezing or stopping unexpectedly and not responding to input- ie- not stopping when I hit the stop icon, continuing to play a song even after Roon has been closed or force quit using Finder. I am running Roon on an Imac (M1 2021, Sequoia 15.1.1). At times the connection to the streamer does not even appear until a hard restart of the Imac has happened. As it is it is unusable.

Thanks for taking the time to write in and share your report, and welcome to the community as well!
Since you’re running Seqouia, can you please navigate to macOS System Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network , and make sure Roon is allowed. If it is already enabled, toggle it off and on again. Then reboot your Mac, and see if the same issue persists.
Since you’ve mentioned rebooting helps sometimes, another area to review is your Mac firewall - can you confirm Roon is listed as proper exception to your firewall? Here’s more info on this:
Can you test out a hardwire ethernet connection in the meantime as well?
