Roon Essentials can't read hard drive or recognize audio devices (ref#79HQAP)

I have a Roon Essentials account. I can't stay on the internet all the time. When I do connect it won't read my hard drive where my music is stored. I am running a Discovery g-101g from ELAC. I am hoping you can help because ELAC won't do anything for me. I don't know what else to do. Also it won't recognize any audio devices. Thanks for your time. Michael Saylor

@Michael_Saylor Roon Essentials and Roon are two entirely different products. Roon Essentials is bundled in some ELAC Discovery products, support for both the software and hardware is provided by ELAC.

I have contacted them several times to no avail.

That’s a bummer. Seen others with Roon Essentials stuck in the middle with no help.

To me it sounds like a Network issue. Maybe get a local IT person to take a look at it.

I purchased a new router to see if it will help. I don’t have any other ideas.
