Roon Essentials not recognizing all music tracks on external drive (ref#UEK6WO)

If you move the content from your NAS to a local storage location, do you still experience issues with playback?

· The issue only happens when the content is on the main NAS storage location

Please try playing content of a lower sample rate (44.1kHz or 48kHz), does this work as expected?

· No, lower sample rates are still affected

What are the make and model of the affected audio device(s) and the connection type?

· He lacked discovery model DS – S101 – G music server

Describe the issue

I’m using Roon Essentials on an ELA discovery music server. I have an external hard drive connected and ruin essentials is only finding 13 music albums. There are hundreds of music tracks that are not being looked at by.Roon Esentials.

Describe your network setup

T-Mobile 5G router connected to elect Discover music series VN and ethernet cable. Elect discovery analog output to an outlaw stereo receiver that works fine.

Is is my understanding Roon Essentials support is handled by Elac support. You would need to contact them.

Roon Essentials and Roon are different products, and Essentials customers are entitled to direct support from Elac.

While Roonlabs are happy for both products to be discussed on Community, for support you will definitely want to contact Elac directly for any questions about Roon Essentials.
