I am running a Win 8 machine, loaded Roon so that I could use my PC as a remote off off the Roon Server I run on a dedicated PC on my home laptop. It endlessly cycles from the option: oops I meant to run as a remote control, to the library I want it to remote to, and when clicked takes me back to oops. How do I get past the configuration screen so I can use the remote functionality?
Solved with reboot. Apparently Reboot necessary after installation. Sorry for the redundant post, but I answer for sake of others. I will note that I am not sure why I waited so long to run Roon. Product is fantastic!
