Roon extremely slow when changing albums/songs in Tidal

Mac mini 2012 (headless, exclusively dedicated to Roon)/OS X El Capitan/Roon 1.8 build 764/Wired gigabit network/1TB fiber internet connection/Apple AirPort Time Capsule router.

Naim ND5XS (through Sonore Bridge)/Naim Mu-So/Bluesound Node 2i. All wired.

When playing Tidal and pushing play, forward or backwards or when in a queue there is a change of album, it takes up to a minute for the song to start to play. Also, it takes a few seconds for the next song of an album to play if in queue.

Problem happens across devices, remotes (iPhone, iPad, Mac mini…) and just with Tidal. No problem at all with local library.

Hello @Ricardo_Damborenea ,

Can you please confirm if this issue happens on multiple zones, both on the Naim and Node?

We strongly suggest against using Apple Networking gear as we have often seen them to be the source of networking issues in Roon. Please see our Networking Best Practices Guide:

we strongly recommend against using Apple network devices such as the Apple Airport Extreme and Airport Express (note: it’s fine to use the Airport Express as an Airplay device). To ensure the best performance, we recommend against using these devices.

You may also want to try changing your DNS to Cloudflare DNS, Quad9 or Google DNS, that may help a bit, but having a good router may help more.
