Roon fails to recognize Fiio SR11 streamer (ref#Y9UVFK)

I'm trying to connect to my fiio sr11 streamer but roon doesn't recognise it.

I have the SR11 as well, Ethernet connected. What usually happens is that if the Fiio is turned on before you launch Roon Remote it won’t show up. In that case I just turn Fiio off and back on and it shows up in Roon as it was set up at first.

The same behavior was also on WiFi.

I have three SR11s and have no problem connecting. Ethernet or WiFi. Whether started before or after Roon Remote is launched.

Make sure the SR11 is on firmware M239 or V630, and that ‘ROON’ or ‘MIX’ is the selected mode.

If discovery still fails then the network could be the culprit.

A few experienced users have provided some device-specific suggestions in the posts above. If you’ve tried those steps and still have trouble with device discovery for this streamer, then please give us a ping here.
