I have a near identical issue - BUT re-uploaded and installed software. It still doesn’t find the server.
I’ve clicked on “Set up a Roon Server on this Mac” - but ends up in same result ie “Your Roon Server doesn’t seem to be running”
Any suggestions how I can fix this?

Roon core runs on a dedicated Mac that’s not used for any other services. iMac 2017, 3GHZ, Quad cor, Intel i5
Most music stored on a SSD T7 directly plugged into the same Mac.
Been running for a couple of years - no issues.
Stopped working a couple of days ago.
Appreciate your help / guidance?
Something changed, i would start there. Sequoia Update maybe. Check permissions
