· Opened Roon on Widows 10 PC and it said there was an update available which I selected update. Roon closed and will not start again. I have clicked on upward arrow and clicked quit but still nothing.
Opened event viewer to send logs but when I click on application, filter current logs is greyed out.

Hi @Mark_Ranson,

Thank you for your post.

Is Roon Server still running in the background, or is it just Roon (the remote app) that won’t open?

It’s worth checking that the update didn’t remove Roon.exe/RoonServer.exe/RAATServer.exe from any firewall safelist as well.

Do you have a Backup of Roon available?

Lastly, please use the directions found here to locate the logs folder contained within the Roon folder. Please zip/compress this logs folder and upload it as a (.zip) file to our File Uploader. You should be able to access this particular local log folder regardless of the status of Roon in the Event Viewer.

Thanks!

When it normaly updates it shuts down normally and the launches again but not this time. If i double click Roon icon i can see server in the systems tray but Roon itself won’t launch.

Don’t worry i fixed it myself after sending my logs to you and not getting a reply.
