Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

· Roon is slow, freezing or won’t start

· After recent update, roon will not startup. I have reported pc, and still roon will not start up.

Hi @Darren_Gee,

Thanks for the details. Before we go further, a few things would help us narrow this down:

  • What is Roon Server running on, Windows, macOS, Linux, Nucleus, or ROCK?
  • When you say you reported the PC, do you mean you rebooted it, or did you reinstall anything as part of the update?
  • What exactly happens when you try to launch Roon, does nothing appear, does it open and then close, or do you see an error message?
  • Is the Roon Server machine wired directly to your network, or is there a switch, mesh node, or other network device in between?
Once we know the above, we can proceed from there.
