Roon falsely detects MP3 files as corrupt on NAS (ref#5QY1MM) [Ticket In]

Hi @davidmead ,

The release is not quite ready yet, but if you’d like, you can temporarily set up an Early Access server on your Macbook to confirm if the fix worked, it would be a great data point to have. Or if you’d rather wait for the production release, that’s fine too. In any case, thanks for your patience!

Thanks for the update @noris . I’ll wait for the update release

For reference, the fix was included in Roon 1674 and will ship with all versions of Roon with a release number above that.

We don’t have a timeline for the release of the next public date, but if you bookmark the software release notes page, we’ll create a thread there once the release is prepared:

Thanks @connor

@connor I am now running version 2.71 (build 1680) and that seems to have cleared a lot of the “corrupt” tracks, including the original album in this thread.

I created a smart playlist for all tracks labelled ‘corrupt’ and re-analyzed each album. Nearly all of them cleared up and now play. I assume to the few remaining tracks are truly corrupted.

Thanks to everyone for the help.
