Description Of Issue

I’m using Macbook Air as Roon core but it has been terminated working abruptly so I have to re-launch Roon software.
It happened when I listen music and also happened when the Roon core is just ‘on’ but not working.
I changed Roon core with my desktop(Intel i5, 8GB RAM) but the symptom has been same.
I changed Roon core again with my other laptop(Intel atom, 2GB) but same issue happened.

Here is a report from Macbook Air after termination of Roon.
I tried to attach whole report but this message system has a line limit so I attach several lines.
If you need whole report, please let me know your email address.
Please let me know how I fix this issue.

Sorry for the trouble here, @il_han!

Would you kindly use the directions found here and send us over a set of logs using a shared Dropbox link? Thanks!

Hello,

Thanks for the info.
I’m ready to send the zipped log file but I don’t have dropbox.
Please let me know how I can do further.

regards,
il han

The i5 8GB Ram setup is perhaps your best system to run roon on but the other 2 systems are likely based on your description of C2D CPU and Atom with 2GB Ram are grossly under spec FYI.

Hello @il_han, could you please upload the files here and reply to this thread once you have done so?

Hi,

I’ve just uploaded my log.

Hello @il_han, and thanks for uploading the logs for us! I took a look with the QA team today and we wanted to gather a few more key pieces of information from you.

  1. Could you please send me a screenshot of Settings>Setup> Subnet for Linn Streaming.
  2. If you switch the core running Roon as “all-in-one” do you still see the issue?
  3. We would also like to get logs from the Windows machine as the core if possible.

Hello,

Here is an answer from your questions.

1.

2. If ‘all-in-one’ means that no connection with other audio system, it is yes.
I’ve used Macbook air as roon core and there was no connection with other roon remote and used Macbook’s internal speaker.
3. I uploaded it to Zoho work drive which you notified me.
And I uploaded screen shot about your question 1 as well.

regards,
il han
