I take it that the Asus Intel Corei5 is the machine that is running your Roon Server. Given this can you answer the following questions:
What operating system are you running (Windows, Linux, RoonOS [as installed by ROCK])?
Have you configured Roon Server to start on powerup (Windows or Linux)?
If not, have you explicitely started the Roon Server application?
Note: On Windows and Macs, the Roon Server application is a separate application from the Roon Desktop. There must be at least one computer running Roon Server on your network for Roon to work.
Are you trying to run the Roon desktop application on the same computer or are you using the desktop application on another computer or the Roon Remote on a mobile device (phone or tablet)?
In either event, can you post some screenshots showing what happens when you try to log in?
Information on how to post screen shots can be found at:
Finally, how are each of the devices connected to your network? Other than your router, do you have any other networking devices on your network (managed switches, WiFi access points or extenders, MESH WiFi systems etc).
Your Roon Server computer should be connected to your router by ethernet either directly or indirectly via an unmanaged ethernet switch. For networking best practise see:
You appear only to have joined the Roon community in May and this is your first post. Have you ever had Roon working? Are you familiar with the Roon system architecture desribed at:
Have you read the getting started guide (and watched the videos) at:
Welcome to the forum! Since you’re not able to sign in, there’s not much in terms of remote diagnostics we can run, but do let us know the questions that @Wade_Oram inquired so that we can better understand your setup to advise possible points of issue, thanks!
Roon on a Windows computer consist of two programs, Roon server and Roon client. It is quite likely you are opening the Roon client program, but not the Roon server program. That, of course, will not work.
