This is not really a problem but an observation. If I focus on my “Country” genre, Roon includes about 600 albums. If I focus negatively on “Holiday” genre, it eliminates about 100 about 600 albums. So far so good. If I play via shuffle, the Holiday music still shows up. If I shut down the core (windows 10 machine) then restart Roon,it remembers my focus (+county - holiday) and it will play only country without Holiday.

Actually I can’t because it doesn’t happen since I restarted the core. Suspect I accidentally fixed it when I modified the genre mapping to direct my tagged “Holiday” cds to roon’s “Christmas”
