This update requires at least macOS 12. For now, you can install the previous Roon version for macOS (and then turn off automatic updates):
For the future, a free option is to update your Mac with the OCLP app. This works with nearly all Intel Macs update at least to macOS 12, which is all you need.
Thank you for your post. @Suedkiez is correct here; the Roon minimum hardware requirements have updated as of April 27 (the latest release) for both stability and security reasons.
There is a temporary installer available here for users who are in a bind without Roon in the meantime:
One workaround if you wish to keep this current hardware setup is to use the OCLP (Open Core Legacy Patcher) app as described in the post above.
