Roon inefficient on Mac OS (Power sucker)

Core Machine (Operating system/System info/Roon build number)
Wired MOCK (i3 8100, 16Gb DDR4, 6Tb media, 250Gb PCIe NVMe for db and ROCK)

Network Details (Including networking gear model/manufacturer and if on WiFi/Ethernet)
Wired and WLAN, mix of 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz

Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)
Auralic Aries G1 (WLAN), Mini (Wired), Femto (Wired) and direct USB connection from Core

Description Of Issue
This is not new, but more of a “please fix it”-request. Roon consumes unacceptable amounts of power on Mac OS (Big Sur at the moment but also on Catalina previously).

My MacBook Pro (2017 model, i5 Dual Core with two Thunderbolt ports) used as a Controller drains my battery in a couple of hours. And then I am not even using Roon on it, it’s in the background. I see no reason for Roon to consume all of this power when not “in use”…

Please, please try and optimize the Roon software… I see more and more reasons to switch into native applications for Mac OS (and iPad OS also btw).
