Roon Installation Drive

I have Roon installed on my main 512gb SSD drive (same as OS and Apps). I plan to purchase a secondary 1TB SSD drive purely for music storage. Does it matter if Roon and my music library are stored on different Drives? Is it preferred to have them on the same drive?

Nope, that’s fine.

Note… also there’s no requirement for the music files to be on a SSD, though being silent and more reliable are factors to consider.

Thanks for the info. I figure an SSD not having any moving components is probably desired over a standard HDD. Though my current library is on an HDD and I haven’t noticed anything detrimental to the sound.
