Roon iOS App not connecting to Roon Server (ref#NOVKIY)

Is Roon Server running?

· Yes, Roon Server is turned on and running.

Roon iOS App is not connecting to Roon Server - was working well but now won't connect - the app just says connecting but the connect button does not grey out to enable selection

I am not that technical - use wifi and this was not previously an issue before and nothing has changed re the wifi

Can you check to ensure that your iOS Settings → Roon → Local Network Access toggle is still switched to on? I’d also ensure that Private Relay is not turned on, as this can have a similar impact. If this still does not help, do you have another remote you can try connecting to the server to find out out if multiple remotes are affected or just the one?

so Roon app has local network access and private relay was but is now turned off


I have also deleted and reinstalled the Roon Remote app after switching private relay off

sorry I don’t have access to a another remote this weekend

rebooted the iMac and resintalled Roon iOS app on iPhone

now its connecting
