roon is duplicating all of my tracks

Please check Settings → Storage. Do you have more than one folder added, e.g., a local drive and network drive pointing to the same files? This is often the cause of duplicates.

Also, make sure that your database backup location is not in a “watched” folder as this can cause issue like this. Look in “settings/backup” in Roon.
