Roon is loading very slowly

Core Machine (Operating system/System info/Roon build number)
Zenith Mk 2 with soTm sMS-200 ultra Neo as bridge

Network Details (Including networking gear model/manufacturer and if on WiFi/Ethernet)
Singtel wifi

Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)
sotm switch> Zenith Mk2>sms 200 ultra Neo>txusb ultra> Terminator DAC via USB

Description Of Issue
Roon is loading very slowly, when playing songs from 1 album its ok, but when you select other songs from other albums it takes very long to load. (About 20-45 secs)

Have you rebooted the roon core?

are these local library or streamed?

if local where is the music stored - on the core machine on on another machine. when I see “Singtel” I already get chills - worst ISP in Singapore.

Hi @D_Devaraj,

Is the Core machine connected via WiFi? What router is in use? Can you describe your network chain a bit more?

Is the loading you’re referring to the amount of time it takes to start playback? Does this occur when playing to other Zones, like System Output of a remote?

Can you describe what content this occurs with? Both local and streaming? Where is your local media stored?
