I am doing the free trial of Roon and it worked for a bit while I was importing my music, but now it keeps crashing 2-3 seconds after I open it.
Nevermind. If this happens to you, delete your database folder and watch as roon re-loads all of your albums. Make note of the last album before it crashes and delete the next one in alphabetical order. It was some very old, sketchy, mp3 files that were making it crash. I deleted them and it works now.
Apparently roon is much pickier about files than other media players. I don’t know what it was that was making these crash, but it’s possible that one file was either corrupted or missing information.
