@support Roon keeps crashing on me after an hour or so for no random reason. After the latest update crashes then tells me cannot update my database. Have to uninstall then reinstall to get access but continues to crash if I try to install the new update again or plays for some time.

I have around 8900 tracks directly on my hard drive and around 4000 on Tidal.
Any thoughts are appreciated.
I suspect your database is corrupted, most likely through a dirty shutdown. Restore a backup or delete the database and have Roon rebuild it.
