Dear Roon, I keep getting this message, and the system just goes on for hours, not minutes. The only solution I find is to log out and restart. How do I STOP this nuisance happening again and again?

I use my iMac as my Roon server. No problems until recently when this nuisance message appears repeatedly.
It doesn’t look like you have too large of a library according to diagnostics, so it is strange that you are saying it is taking a while. Can you let us know the exact local time + date when you next see this issue occur?
There have been frequent device discovery problems related to macOS 15 Sequoia. Either restarting alone seems to fix it or it may be necessary to toggle a macOS setting off and back on again - there are lots of threads about it on the forum, but if it’s working now for you it may stay that way, anyway.
