Live radio station issue. I'm in the UK. My live radio preset for "Times Radio" has today suddenly started playing a sister national radio station called "TalkSport" having been set up and working perfectly for a couple of years. Could this be an overnight Roon live radio directory configuration issue/change? Can a Roon radio curator see if they get the same problem? Thanks, Peter.

I can’t check properly as I am away from home. The stream URLs look good and sound ok on the stream tester.
Can you listen through a Roon server Geoff and determine - it should be fairly obvious.
Another user is having an issue where he is mistakenly getting talk sport. Co-incidence?
I suspected a DNS cache issue and suggested a reboot - @Peter_Whitehouse could be worth doing the same here.
Hi there. I have tried magic radio UK and that works fine. Also tried Virgin radio RCK Switzerland and also seems to work as does classic FM UK. However, Virgin radio UK reverts to play talk sports radio station. Very strange! Any advice welcome

Thanks, everyone for checking this out so quickly and confirming it’s not just me. I thought I was going crazy! Incidentally I did send an email to Times Radio before I posted on the community site, but I’m not sure I’ll hear anything back from them. Looking forward to a solution as TalkSport is not exactly my thing.
I’ve suggested to the Times support team that the problem may be at their end, as Virgin Radio, Times Radio and Talk Sport are all owned by News Corp and operated under the UK News banner, hence probably streamed from common infrastructure. An interesting question for me is whether Roon implemented any upgrade or configuration changes between Sunday 9/Tuesday 11 November, most likely overnight Monday.
Checked things using my Bluesound streamer via Tidal. Times Radio source plays Times Radio. Roon server via Tidal set to Times Radio still plays Talksport. As Geoff noted, Virgin Radio also plays Talk Sport. Definitely a Roon specific issue wherever the problem lies.
As posted above, I now think it’s definitely a Roon-specific issue with certain News UK stations. Times and Virgin Radio both started playing Talk Sport via Roon this week. My BluOS/Tidal/TuneIn streamer doesn’t have this problem. Really frustrating as all my end points in the house are Roon Ready so it’s Times Radio in the lounge only! Might help to get it sorted if you start a new post …
I’ve just checked the Times Radio broadcast directly in Roon, and I can confirm that it matches what is currently playing on the official Times Radio page.
Could you please double-check on your side and confirm whether you are still hearing TalkSport instead?
