Roon locks up overnight. I have to restart almost every day. Can’t load any backups; it always fails.

Roon Core Machine

Database Size 32GB Cache Size 822MB
Version: Roonserver 2.48 (build 1517) production
Model: SonicTransporter i5/16GB
(It takes ~6 minutes to reboot the server and get to the Roon interface.

Networking Gear & Setup Details

Network is Fiber-to-copper via Calix Gigapoint 801G, then Netgear Orbi RBR50 Router with 3 satellites which are equipped with Ethernet backhaul. Latest firmware.

DNS is 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4/1.1.1.1

Control is MacBook Pro/MacOS Sonoma 14.4.1 (23E224), & MacBook Air M4/Sequoia 15.4 Roon Latest Version

Connected Audio Devices

Endpoints are:

  1. KEF LS50 WII
    2.Mac mini via Ethernet, output to analog amp.
  2. KEF LS50 WII via WiFi (mostly left in sleep mode, rarely used)
    All KEF firmware is up-to-date

Number of Tracks in Library

398k Tracks, 99.9% FLAC
