Roon login times out and returns to the login screen (ref#1W68TD)

What’s happening?

· I'm having trouble logging in

Where are you having trouble logging in?

· I can't log into the Roon app

Describe the issue

the login just shows the roon logo then times out and returns to he login screen

Describe your network setup

its all been working then while listening to the radio it stopped and i cannot log in. I have reinstalled the software from a previous download but that is the same

I have also tried logging in via Chrome rather than edge but it’s the same

I have a video of the process if I cen send it.

I can log on to see posts on the help board it’s just to get back into roon…sever is running

Hi @Neil_Billingham,

Try disabling your content blockers (adblockers) in either browser and repeating the login. If this is unsuccessful, try logging in via the accounts page instead of within the app.

Additionally verify that Roon’s processes (.exe) are added as exceptions to the Windows Defender firewall if you have a Windows machine in your setup functioning as RoonServer.

I dont have any ad blockers on either browser.
I can log in and am logged in via the app
Yes its a windows 11 PC and the firewall has exceptions for the two roon .exe’s

I do have a video of the login if you can receive this.

I did an up date yesterday morning.

Just a bit more info.
I have downloaded roon on my laptop. It can see the server on my PC and when I log in I get an email saying new login but the login fails in the same manner as on the PC

What happens if you temporarily disable your windows firewall? Are you able to gain access in this case?
