I have a small problem with Roon. When there is an update or when there is a backup the Roon application no longer finds my Linn Selekt DSM Edition Hub. I have to completely turn off the Linn Selekt DSM and wait a few moments and my device is found again by Roon. I use a Nucleus One with an iMac, an iPad and an iPhone as remote controls. Is there anything I can do to avoid this inconvenience or wait for a new update. Kind regards. Deremiens.
Describe your network setup
A Proximus box (Sagemcom), a Nucleus One is connected to it, a Linn Selekt DSM. An iMac, an iPad and an iPhone as remote controls.
Note that this issue is primarily related to the Linn machine having issues connecting via Roon Ready. Unfortunately, we don’t have any additional information to share at this time.
If you use a different media player altogether, completely outside of Roon, do you run into similar issues?
I’d also see if you can simplify your network setup at all in the meantime as well - how is the DSM connected to your primary router / Nucleus?
Good evening,
it is every time after a Roon update or a database backup that the problem arises. By turning off and turning on the Linn Selekt DSM, things are restored and Linn Selekt DSM is again present on the “Audio” page on the application.
I also have a “Wiim Amp” device connected via Wifi (but which is not activated) I have no problem with it and it always appears on the “Audio” page.
The Nucleus One is connected directly to my Box, the Selekt DSM is connected to the modem via a Devolo. With an iMac, an iPhone and an iPad as remote control.
I hope my explanations are clear. Best regards. Deremiens.

Thanks for confirming that aspect! Yes, this does indeed sound like the issue we are tracking in that thread. Since this is a known issue, I’ll go ahead and close this thread, but please keep an eye on that thread for any updates!
