Hi @Sam_Samaha,

Last time you reported a DAC connectivity issue this advice helped, can you do same this time …

If this does not work, additional information / confirmation of your setup will help Roon’s support team to diagnose and get to the root cause.

  • Roon Server Machine?
  • DAC model?
  • Network equipment?
  • How the devices are connected together?

I checked these settings and they’re all correct.

It was occurring on my M3 MacBook Pro, but I’ve since replaced my MacBook Pro to a new M4 version running the latest MacOS.. I use the Laptop as my server.

DAC is a dCS Rossini (first version, fully updated with their latest firmware)
Network equipment is the Cox latest modem with Cox high speed service.
The Cox router is connected to the DAC directly as it always has been.

This ALWAYS happens only when Roon asks me to do an update, which seems very often.. after the update, it stops finding my DAC… I have to uninstall Roon, and reboot my computer to get it to work again.

The settings may look correct but they need to be switched off and then back on again in order for the updated Roon to have access.

Can you confirm, you toggled these network access settings off and then back on again?

If you did, then unfortunately I’m out of ideas, let’s see what Roon’s support team find / suggest.

ok, yeah, I have not tried that yet… for now all is working fine, but as soon as I get a Roon Update and apply it, and if it does it again I will try the toggle on/off of the network access fix. Thank you for the assistance.

Glad you’re up and running once more, I’ll mark this topic as solved.
