Description of Issue

After upgrading my Sonictransporter from 2.5 to 2.7, Roon dropped the connection to my Drobo 5N. I can connect to the Drobo easily from any device on the network except the Sonictransporter. Roon gives me “invalid network path” when attempting to re-map the drive, as though it doesn’t exist. Repeating- only Roon refuses to connect to the drive- I can get to it no problem with all other network connected devices. The only thing that changed was the Sonictransporter upgrade.

Have you asked Small Green Computer about this as well? @agillis

Yup they sent me to Roon. lol.

Well, I am sure, official Roon support will be around soon. Can you post a screen shot of the Network path that used to work, but, does not now. Might help support.

Try updating to 2.8. That is the latest.

if you use a DHCP assigned address for the Drobo perhaps its changed?

Maybe a SMB protocol version mismatch?

Does the 5N has current firmware enabling SMB2?

Did the transporter upgrade disable SMB1?

SMB 2.0 should be fine
