Roon Messing With My Album Titles

Aloha,

In iTunes, I often make special annotations in the album titles. Like I might put “[vinyl rip]” or “[DR 16]”. I prefer to see these sorts of comments in the title rather than having to dig for comments.

It all appears just fine in iTunes.

When it gets transferred, Roon faithfully removes my special notes from the titles. Is there a way to prevent Roon from doing this?

Well, if that information is in the title of the folder where the album files are found, then during import Roon (if it has been told to do so during import) will put that information in the Version display section.
