Description of the issue
When STREAMING KQAC from MyRadio, the left channel is louder then the Right channel.
When I turn Roon OFF, and switch to the same station on a LUMIN D2, the sound is balanced from Both channels. ???
The IPS is Verizon. Final output is to a Denon X6800 AVR. Could this be caused by Apple Airplay? Which Roon uses for Streaming.
Thank you for the report. If you’re still experiencing this issue after trying the suggestions above, please provide the name of the track was playing when symptoms manifested. We’ll take a closer look at diagnostic logging.
Thanks for sharing an update! Based on a recent Roon Server diagnostic report, it’s unclear if you’ve successfully set your audio zone to Roon Ready rather than Airplay.
Could you please reproduce the issue in Roon Ready mode, with Airplay turned off in the Lumin app? Share a more specific date and time please as this will help our team examine a fresh report. Thank you!
Sorry for the delayed response. Today my system is fully balanced no matter the input source or station streamed. VERIZON!!!.
Just guessing on my part but thinking VERIZON is throttling on the weekends where I live. Dont know how this effects streaming.
Yesterday, (SUN.) i increased the level of the Right front channel by 2.5 and the sound is close to balanced. Today, with NO change to the AVR settings,
the sound was RIGHT channel louder. Went back and reset all channel level to default. Sound is now centered as it should be. Airplay also is fine as is my Lumin D2. Only other condition may be an intermittent preamp in my Denon AVR. Hope not .
