On default settings Roon downloads updates automatically. A restart of the device (NADAC + Player) may be needed to install the new version.
Also, the NADAC + Player should run RoonOS – you can try to access the web interface:

Welcome to the community! We’re happy to have you here and apologize that it’s an issue that prompted your first post. I see many experts from the community have suggested some great next steps to try, I wanted to check in to see if you’re still running into issues with your Nadac player?
@BlackJack is steering you in the right direction with setting up the web UI. Please let me know if you still run into issues after trying this!
I would also suggest simplifying your setup as much as possible, by hardwiring your core directly to your router.
