Roon never ending load screen [Resolved]

Roon Remotes are a 16" MacBook Pro running Big Sur 11.4 and an iPhone 12 Pro running whatever the latest iOS is.

Unsure, approximately 60,000 tracks

Description of Issue

Just today I started getting a never ending load screen on all devices trying to access the Core. Screenshot below, but it just sits on the moving waveform icon. Was working fine just last night. No issues with the network that I can tell. I can remotely log in to the computer running the Roon Core and surf the net, dropbox is syncing fine, etc. I’ve restarted a couple times, same issue.

I tried reinstalling the iPhone app - it found the core, I hit “connect,” and I get the same issue. Just loading, loading, loading.

Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

Have you tried rebooting the Roon Core?

I have, same result. Infinite loading.

Can you please try the following?

  • Exit out of Roon/Roon Server
  • Navigate to your Roon Database Location - Database\Registry\Core
  • Locate your tidal_account file and delete it
  • Try to start Roon again
