Describe the issue

I have a meridian 818.3 with meridian digital speakers. Roon only recognizes id40 or id41 and while in the past said roon ready does not say that now. When I enable id40 or id41 it only plays through the computer(server) which is a desktop Mac. It no longer plays through sooloos and the meridian speakers.

Describe your network setup

Server - Mac desktop, meridian 818.3, meridian digital speakers. (Sooloos), I also have primaire room ready digital streamer hooked up to the 818.3 through a digital output.

Hi @homecottage,

Thank you for your patience in awaiting a response here. First reboot RoonServer to prompt a device discovery cycle.

From there, double-check that Roon has local network permissions in your MacOS Privacy & Security → Local Network section. This will ensure device discovery isn’t being restricted by the operating system.

Please also share a screenshot of your Settings → Audio page within Roon.

Thank you!

Hi @homecottage,

Just circling back to see whether you were able to reboot Roon Server and check that Roon has Local Network access enabled in MacOS Privacy & Security. If you can also send over a screenshot of your Settings > Audio page, that should help us narrow this down. Reply with any updates when you can.
