So last night decided to listen to some music, and went into Roon. . . I noticed immediately that the home page (Discover) wouldn’t load. Just blank but if I went to Albums they showed up. . but only my tidal albums. I figured there must be something wrong with the network, but no, I can manually connect and see my music and play it via another app from my iPad or mac. I have something like 2000 albums but soon is only seeing 1641 tracks. I tried resetting the network, creating a new link via storage in Roon, etc. Nothing. If I go down to a single folder that has an album in it (again, one that I can play manually), Roon scans it and says there is are no trace there. . .
Help!
Thanks for contacting support, I’d be happy to assist you with this issue. I have a few troubleshooting questions/suggestions:
Can you please try rebooting your Core machine, router & storage location if you have not done so yet?
How is your music storage set up in this case, are you using a NAS? If so please list the model number.
Has the IP address of the NAS by any chance changed?
What model/manufacturer Router are you using in this setup? Are you using any powerline extensions, guest networks or switches?
Can you please provide a screenshot of your Roon Settings -> Storage?
If you Disable and then Re-Enable the watched location, does that resolve this issue? If you perform a force rescan, does that help? You can perform these actions in the following way:
