Hello @Stephen_Lurie,

Thanks for reaching out to Roon Support.

We reviewed the diagnostics from your Mac and found that Roon does not appear to have any issues discovering or connecting to your Bluesound NODE X/N131. The device is visible to Roon and the connection appears to be established successfully.

However, we did notice a licensing-related issue in the diagnostics from April 28. Since your account appears to have an active trial, please try refreshing your Roon account session by following these steps:

  1. In Roon, go to Settings → Account and log out of your Roon account.
  2. Quit Roon Server completely.
  3. Open Finder and navigate to:

    ~/Library/RoonServer

  4. Delete the Cache folder.
  5. Restart Roon Server.
  6. Log back into your Roon account.
After that, please check Settings → Audio again and let us know whether your Bluesound NODE X appears and can be enabled.

Thanks.

I was able to get Node X set up, bu am unable to add Qobuz. I can sign into my account on their website, but when I go to add it in the Roon app on my Mac it says Error verifying account, please check your account details. (Unauthorized)

Hey @Stephen_Lurie,

Thanks for the update! To confirm, you have a paid Qobuz subscription, correct? Roon unfortunately no longer functions with the free version of Qobuz.

With that, if you created your Qobuz account using Apple, Google, or Facebook, Roon often struggles with the authentication token.

  • Log into the Qobuz website in your browser.
  • Go to My Account > My Personal Information.
  • Look for the "Change Password" section.
  • Create a direct Qobuz password (even if you usually use a social login).

Go back to Roon and try logging in with your email and this new specific password.

If that doesn’t help, and if your Mac is using your ISP's default DNS, it might be failing to reach the Qobuz authentication server properly.
  • Go to System Settings > Network > Advanced > DNS.
  • Try adding Google’s DNS (8.8.8.8) or Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) to the list.

Let me know if either help, thank you!
