Roon not detecting Devialet Expert Pro

Description of Issue

No music playing, when pressing play on Roon Ready, the following message appears,

"Starting playback on your audio device, this may take a moment ".

Nothing then happens, see screenshot. It seems that Roon simply cannot connect to the Devialet. I have rebooted the NAS and the Devialet, to no avail. This has never happened before in 5 years.

The Devialet was not in standby mode. I leave it on permanently. The device is on and pressing play repeatedly shows this message with no audio playback. I am on latest version of Roon, 884

Try to power off all these devices:

  • Devialet - unplug it (not just power off the remote)
  • Roon Core
  • switch
  • router

Then start them one by one, in the reverse order of the order above. Before starting each device, wait for the previous one to start completely (to finish the initialization process).
