Describe the issue
I’m having trouble with Roon seeing and displaying a particular album. For background, I add all my audio files on a Mac Mini server through the Music app, and Roon monitors that Music folder.
I had an album (25 tracks) that was missing one track and had wrong metadata in about half the tracks. Still, all the tracks that were there showed up in both Music and in Roon. I corrected the metadata and added the missing track to the album. Everything looked fine in Music. However, Roon wouldn’t show the track that was missing but that I had just added. I told it to rescan the album several times but that didn’t work. I also tried having it reanalyze the album, but the track still wouldn’t show up. Restarted Roon as well as the Roo Server but still no luck. I decided to make a copy of the album, delete it from Music (moving files into the trash and emptying the trash), and then reimport it into Music in order to get Roon to rescan it. It all looks fine in Music, but now Roon shows 1) a version of the album with just three tracks in it, 2) a version of the album that does not load (just displays “loading album”, and 3) a handful but not all of the tracks that link to one of those two albums. How can I get Roon to see the album correctly?
