Days ago out of the blue, Roon just stopped. I quit and then opened it again and still nothing. After a time a message comes up that says “nothing playing”. The challenge is I’m not computer savvy nor do I have the inclination or the time to learn how to engineer this through. So frustrating!
There are no answers out there…
I tried logging in and then out several times.
I checked all my connections.
Now I clicked on the play button and everything is locked up.
Can you help?

That little speaker icon in the lower right next to the volume - it is indicating that you are playing to a zone called “System Output” - what other zones are available when you click on that? What happens when you play to those zones?
I clicked on the different icons - imac speakers and system output, and nothing happens. In addition the Streambox icon no longer displays. When I click on the play button (arrow turned right) it’s locked up. I logged in an out of roon and no changes.
And possibly even explicitly disable ‘System Output’.
I learnt very early on with Roon from one of the experts here that (particularly if using SoundSource - an excellent piece of software in itself) Roon likes to be in complete control of its own audio.
What are your settings for ‘Private Zone’ and ‘Exclusive Mode’ in the case(s) of any audio devices which you do have enabled? They can be found in ‘Device Setup’ (cog top right)?
