Does anyone use roon with melco, I have n-03 here and was delighted to discover I can just hook up a cd drive to it and rip cds so tried one. Its ripped to flac in the top level of the folder called CD_Rips
The content is correct and checking in MP3TAG its all been tagged beautifully.
Nothing in roon so I forced a rescan, still nothing. When I look in folder view after the rescan its not picking up this new CD_Rips folder at all, which is very strange.
Any hints on how to resolve this?
Add the CD_Rips folder as a watched folder in Roon?
Short and short is, roon is just not playing ball with the melco. On greater inspection there are loads and loads of folders missing from roon.
I know all this music is ‘good’ it was taken from another harddrive where roon picks them up no problem.
Hard to know where to pinpoint the problem, but its possibly to do with roon being in a docker container. This being said I can navigate the melco share within unraid no problem, and this is the information roon has been presented with also, why roon would pick up some folders but not others is bizzare. I also note of the folders it has picked up many albums a are missing one or two songs.
If I was a betting man the melco is presenting the info to roon too slowly so roon is skipping. I have no evidence of that lol.

I have no doubt it works for a lot of people, however are you running roon in a docker?
