I have added 2 folders in the library.
Windows 11 / Latest Roon
Welcome to the forum! Please post a screenshot of your Settings > Storage
That looks recognized to me , drop an album folder in see what happens
There are 100+ âalbumsâ in one of those folders .
âYou donât have any watched folders âŚâ feels like a bug.
Both Watched Folders have the message âWatching for new files in real timeâ which indicates that Roon has not recognised any tracks as valid imported content, otherwise you should have something like this:
Go to > Library > Skipped files and see if there are any files that have been skipped.
I donât think that OneDrive is supported as music library (not an ordinary folder). See also:
So it might work if the user ensures that the complete content is loaded onto his local disk all the time. This bears the question why using a cloud folder at all â especially as it might provide issues because of its special nature?
I was just about to type a similar comment.
@Neil_Tingley,
This is worth a shot, but there may still be issues âŚ
On the Windows OneDrive/mp3 folder ensure the âAlway keep on this deviceâ option is ticked.
(Accessible via a right mouse click.)
Thanks.I switched to using my NAS instead of onedrive, and ROCK server because I donât trust windows.
The âyou donât have any watched folders in your libraryâ makes no sense in the context I described because I configured watched folders - even if they were empty.
So a usability issue for this newbie.
Sorry to be pedantic but 25 years in software development makes you want user messages to be useful not red-herrrings.
The Feedback forum category is a good place to report this to the Roon product team.
