Description of Issue

Roon not responding on startup.

I added Roon as a startup task so no other app can grab “exclusive mode” first. I initially noticed this when TIDAL was already running, so I disabled TIDAL at startup. Tried reinstall but it doesn’t solve the problem. Same problem even with PC restarts. Roon is unusable.

I’ve never had such startup problems with TIDAL or your competitor products. With the other products, they always start, and may complain later if they can’t get exclusive more.

I use MQA and have the appropriate TIDAL service for such. This has been a recurring problem since I started my trial and does not leave me with much confidence about your product, despite that I love it when it actually works.

uninstalling the realtek audio drivers for ASUS Crosshair vii motherboard appears to resolve the issue.
