Description of Issue

Since upgrading to Windows 11, Roon is unable to see the local audio devices. I am able to connect to the core, and can play music to other networked endpoints. However, the local device does not appear.

The change to win 11 might have changed firewall exceptions. Try turning off the firewall as a test, do the local devices appear? If so, then you need to.re-add exceptions for Roon, RoonServer and or Raatserver.

Also check that your network is private and not Public.

The problem persists with the firewall disabled. I can see if Ethernet resolves it.

Yes, moving to wired ethernet resolved the issue.
