Description Of Issue
I downloaded the Roon Application to my Mac Laptop. When I open it it doesn’t show on the screen. Works fine on my iPad.

Which version of Roon did you download and install on you Mac (Roon Core or Roon Server)?
The later is headless, ie no user interface, for that you need the former.
Check out Roon Knowledge Base it’s a good reference source for new and experienced users alike.
