I already uninstalled and reinstalled roon
This is not a new install on this computer roon is used for more than a year
My windows is automatically updated

Try to update your graphics driver. Don’t trust Windows Update on this. Go to the GPU’s manufacturer site and search for the newest driver there.

Should you try to start Roon via RemoteDesktop, try to avoid that and go directly to the machine and try there.

@blackjack ok will try, thank you,
I just saw that .net runtime error there is mention of sooloos at the end ?

Just historical ballast - Roon emerged from Sooloos. Irrelevant for the issue at hand.

Hi @Patrick_Gigase

Were there any Windows updates around the time this started occurring?

Some things to try:

  • Reboot the device
  • Uninstall and reinstall the GPU drivers
  • Download .NET Framework and reinstall it

Let us know if this helps!

Hey Dylan thank you for your reply.
I found where the issue is but i can not permanently solve it.
I bought a Wavlink USB-C Dual 4K Universal Docking. When I put my hdmi directly to my pc I can open Roon but when I connect my hdmi to the Wavlink I can not open Roon and i got the error messages as in my original email. So by pluging and unpluging it works at this moment.
I have a dell xps 15 with gtx1650 graphic card, windows 10 pro and all the updates are on it. There was today also a .net update but the issues started I saw on saterday when I first connected my wavlink.
