These are two different things.
The Tidal > „New albums“ section not updating is indeed broken since August 16. However, new albums were nevertheless ingested and one can search them in Roon. It is just that they didn’t appear in the „New albums“ recommendations. This seems to be a bug on the Tidal side. This is the issue here:

Here is the current status of the issue for those just arriving:
The problem is with TIDAL’s “landing page” within Roon - the new albums list has not updated there for users in certain geographic regions for several months. As others have mentioned above, this is due to some changes to the TIDAL API.
Roon and TIDAL are working together to resolve this issue but it may take some time. Please note that TIDAL content is still fully available in Roon and this issue does not affect pl…
Now there is a new, temporary issue where Roon didn’t ingest any new albums from Tidal today. This is under investigation and hopefully to be fixed soon:
Our “New Music Friday” build failed last night due to an infrastructure issue. This is very unusual and we’re investigating why.
We’ve re-started it and the ETA is currently around 8pm UTC today, as long as there are no more issues.
It does appear that we’re not getting as much advance metadata from TIDAL as we used to. We’re investigating that too. It might be a policy change on TIDAL’s or the labels’ part.
