Description of Issue

System was working fine until yesterday. Now cannot play music from home page (light flashes back and forth on the line that typically gives the song time).

Will also not search for other artist. If they do show up nothing loads under discography. I have been using Qobuz and my library from iTunes (on the same Mac Mini).

No changes had been made prior to Roon stopping to work. I have rebooted the ac several times, restarted Roon, removed Roon from the Mini reloaded to no effect.

Thanks,
Robert

Do you backup your Roon database?

I wasn’t able to initially (wouldn’t let me select a file). Finally after a couple of reboots and turning Roon off and on I was able to back it up. This seems like an odd fix but it is working for now.
Thanks
Robert

Yeah, I didn’t mean for the Backup process to be a fix.

I meant that, if is true that nothing has really changed in your setup, then what you describe could be symptomatic of a corrupted database that you might have to Restore from a Backup.

Still, all’s well that ends well, I guess.
