Describe the issue

We have a \Mark Levinson 585.5 integrated amplifier. We have a Roon Nucleus + connected to the ML 585.5. It just stopped working. Does not recognize the Roon at all.

Describe your network setup

Direct connection

That’s because it’s not Roon ready/tested. Only the 519 dac is.

I thought the ML devices doesn’t have Linux USB drivers? Did you always have it connected to the Nucleus?

Yes, the Nucleus+ has always been attached to the ML. Worked fine for couple years. Then just completely disappeared.

Indeed, the people in the other linked threads could make it work again, too

Hi @Steven_T_Devor,

Verify you’ve followed these steps - with the older 585, users needed to update the firmware for the Levinson unit from the Advanced - Firmware screen. This can be performed by downloading the update (available from ML here) and placing it on a USB drive that you then attach to the amp.

This 585.5 will need to be on Input 11 (USB) in this setup.

Since this isn’t a Roon Ready device like the 519 DAC. If you haven’t already, I recommend reaching out to the ML support team as well.
